| Do I qualify for this Scheme? |
It’s been talked about for months;
on Wednesday 22 April, Chancellor Alistair Darling announced the introduction of a Government Scrappage Scheme, a £2,000 allowance on vehicles aged 10 years or over.
In a bid to give the motor industry a huge sales push and indeed contribute towards getting high-polluting cars off Britain’s roads, not to mention promote road safety – the Government’s Car Scrappage incentive scheme has been given a warm welcome by Busseys – Main ford Dealer Norfolk. |

- Have a car or small van weighing up to 3,500kg
- First registered in the UK on or before 29 February 2000
- Have been registered in your name with the DVLA continuously for 12 calendar months before the order date of the new vehicle
- Have a UK address on the registration certificate (V5C) in the same name as the new vehicle
- Have a valid current MOT test certificate before date of order for the new vehicle
- Have a UK address on the Insurance Documentation in the same name as the new vehicle

The new Ford that you want to buy must be: |
- A car or small van weighing up to 3,500 kg
- First registered in the UK on or after 18 May 2009
- Declared new at first registration in the UK with no former keepers
